So a bit about me.... I'm a wife; mother; daughter; sister, I work in an office, I cook, somewhat clean and pay bills - basically an ordinary life. Few hobbies, I read - a lot - all fiction and apart from this only other real interest is taking photos. 

Enjoying music,  I was in the car the other day and my playlist had the cover of Sound of Silence by Disturbed on and then the next song was Yeah! by Usher. My son looked at me as if I was crazy - hey, it works for me, my playlist - my music. My friends and I have discovered over 40s day time disco's recently for 80s and 90s music and we are hooked!! Dance for a few hours and go home at a respectable time without having to worry about the last trains or buses or just getting home. They are awesome!

So photography and disclaimers - I don't know crap about shutter timings, what apertures are or pretty much anything else which is on the technical side. I look at something and think, yeah, that looks good or that is interesting and I take a pic. If I see something I like, I take a shot. The below are some of the photos I've taken, enjoyable for me and hope you find them engaging.  I use a pair of Canon cameras as it happens, an EOS when I'm out deliberately to take photos, and a handy little Powershot which permanently resides in my handbag for just such an occasion.
